“Fishing means being in deep conversation with Water, with stillness - with life.
I teach river and lake fishing in Norway at the Lythica Gathering as well as Sea Fishing in the UK. My approach is that observation overrides gear meaning we only take what is absolutely essential. We learn how to read the water, the ripples within, the behaviour of birds and what they can tell us about what’s happening beneath the surface.
